It was October 1994 that I got my first mobile phone, the Ericsson 197. I didn’t get it actually. I was given that one when I entered the telecoms to work for a mobile network operator. Did I get excited any? Not really to be honest. The moment I would walk in back to my apartment after work, I would switch off my phone to pick it up the next morning going to work. I started using it a little more when I went to a business trip a month later.
